This recipe is easy to repeat, making it perfect for a quick dinner or snack. I will also show you how to make a light garlic and herb sauce.
Ingredients for “Cabbage Patties with Sauce”:
- White cabbage – 400 g
- Carrot – 1 piece
- Onion – 1 piece
- Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp
- Chicken egg – 2 pieces
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Black pepper – a pinch
- Green onion – to taste
- Garlic – 1 clove
- Sour cream – 30 ml
- Sweet paprika – a pinch
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Servings: 4
- Finely chop the cabbage. Then boil it (for 10 minutes) and drain the excess water.
- Chop the carrot and onion. Pour vegetable oil into a skillet and add the onion. Sauté for 2 minutes, stirring.
- Add the carrot and sauté for another 2 minutes, stirring.
- Add the cabbage and mix well. Beat the eggs, add salt and pepper, and stir with the vegetables.
- Form small balls from the mixture using your hands and flatten them slightly with a spoon.
- Fry for 5 minutes on each side.
- Chop the green onion and mince the garlic. Add them to the sour cream and mix.
- Add a pinch of paprika to the sour cream for flavor.
